     Charges and Payment

  • Charges are per day or part of a day. There is a minimum £25 charge for all pet stays.

  • Prices are charged at double on the following dates: New Year’s Day, Good Friday, Easter Saturday, Sunday and Monday and over Christmas on the 24th, 25th, 26th and 31st December.

  • Payment in full is due when pets are delivered to Pets Stay Happy for the start of their stay.

  • Payment can be made by cash when pets are delivered or by bank transfer 24 hours before delivery of pets is made.

  • The dates booked will be the dates charged.

  • If a longer stay is required, please email, text, or call to ask if this can be accommodated. Any extensions of stay will be charged at our current daily rate.

  • The price includes where appropriate: fresh water, grit, hay and fresh fruit and vegetables as a treat. Please supply a container of your pet’s regular dry food for their stay, so as not to course any change in diet that could upset tummies.

  • If you do not provide adequate feed to cover the length of your pets stay, we reserve the right to charge an additional fee for any dry food we have to purchase, a receipt for which will be provided.

  • Prices do not include any veterinary treatment or medication required during your pets stay.

  • Pet insurance is not included, and owners are advised to have their own cover.

     Pets

  • All pets must be fit and healthy when they are delivered, unless discussed before booking.

  • If your pet does have a pre-existing medical condition, details of the condition and treatment required must be provided. Providing medication may incur an additional charge.

  • All chickens must be disease and mite free. Regular treatment for red mite is recommended.

  • All rabbits must be vaccinated against Myxomatoses and Viral Haemorrhagic Disease (RHD1 and RHD2). A photo of vaccination certificates should be emailed prior to rabbits stay or can be shown upon arrival.

  • If your pet should become sick during its stay with us, we will take them to our local vet, however any costs of treatment or medication required will be charged to the owner.

  • Pets will receive the best possible care, but we can’t be held responsible for any pets becoming ill or dying during their stay.

  • Sadly, small animals can become ill and pass away very quickly, if this does happen we will contact you immediately to discuss your wishes.

  • Pets from different families will be kept separate during their stay with us. So, we cannot be held responsible for any pets becoming pregnant.
